Services

Our "Public Peering" service is an efficient and cost-effective service designed to reduce IP-transit and network costs by aggregating all kinds of ISPs on a single Layer 2 switching platform. WORK-IX’s public peering service will also greatly enhance the speed and reliability of your IP products.

We also provide free value-added services such as the WORK-IX route-server which will get you free access to other participants (which also use the route servers) immediately – without the hassle of negotiating agreements with every potential peering partner. The WORK-IX public peering service is the first choice for wholesale, broadband and content providers seeking a robust selection of Internet networks for connectivity to their customers.

All WORK-IX switches and servers are highly redundant and carrier class systems which are monitored 24x7x365 by DE-CIX Management GmbH and our knowledgeable and responsive staff provides unmatched support for your business.

Customers access the platform via ports ordered at the speed best suited to meet their needs (100Mbps, 1Gbps, 10Gbps). If you would like to join, you need to have your own Autonomous System Number (ASN) and your connection has to comply with the WORK-IX technical requirements.
